Each safe has a special, removable cylinder that works in any of the hotel safes, and it is given to guests when they would like to use their safe.
When the safe is closed, the cylinder remains in the housing, and the guest just has to keep the key, which is a high security dimple key.
In the event that the guest loses the key, the hotel can open the safe using its key (optional mastering) and give the guest another removable cylinder in order to continue using the safe.
